Time to change

My biological clock is giving me some alarms.

Two years ago, my blood pressure was high… I started to add pill to my diet.

My last health exam, the blood pressure situation seems to have been solved by itself and I stopped the pill however my doctor was not happy, my cholesterol level was so high that he prescribed pills to correct the situation.

He also gives me all the “No”: No cheese, No eggs, No cake, No coffee (because of the cream). He didn’t mention anything I could have. I should have fire him on the spot but I don’t have much choice in the matter, where I live (Quebec, Canada), the one with a family doctor are lucky.

You might think that I’m 85 years old and it is just the normal aging process but I just turned 55 this week :(

This is not even the worse; I’m overweighed! according to the BMI chart, I’m obese. I haven’t seen my toes for a while :)

February 1st, I decided to let go… of my extra fat cells. This blog will be dedicated to my journey to get back to a body that doesn’t create such a gigantic shadow.

So in this race against the fat, I will give details, pictures, charts, whatever I find in helping me to the crossing line in the hope that it will help someone else too (and keep me motivate).

So together, let stand-up, put on the running shoes and pace ourselves to better health!

  1. Good for you, my friend, for thinking about your health. We're given one body, and we should take good care of it.
